Sange-mon - Purification

All the evil Karma ever committed by my imperfect self
On account of my beginningless greed, anger, and folly,
Born of my body, mouth and thought,
Now ashamed, I vow to dissolve my imperfect self and manifest no self.
I vow in this moment to begin anew.

Sanki-kai - Taking Refuge to the Three Treasures

NA MU KI E BUTSU
I take refuge in the Buddha.
NA MU KI E HO
I take refuge in the Dharma.
NA MU KI E SO
I take refuge in the Sangha.
KI E BUTSU MU JO SON
I take refuge in the Buddha, the incomparable one.
KI E HO RI YOKU SON
I take refuge in the Dharma, honorable for its purity.
KI E SO WA GO SON
I take refuge in the Sangha, honorable for its harmonious life.
KI E BUKKYO
I have finished taking refuge in the Buddha.
KI E HO KYO
I have finished taking refuge in the Dharma.
KI E SO KYO
I have finished taking refuge in the Sangha.
